Institute of Baltic Studies have conducted a research about volunteering in Estonia, issued by the Ministry of Interior.
Significance for STC was the fact that the number of short-term or ‘micro-volunteers’ who want to participate on project basis, has drastically increased. This means that need for organisations like Serve the City has become greater than before. It is talked about behind the scenes that this trend might effect the way funds and resources are distributed in our favour. With extra funding and support, STC might find strength and motivation to become more active again.
